Tabuk, Kalinga - Philippines June 14-16, 2008
The site of the mission is located in the Cordillera mountains. It was reached by a 16 hour bus ride from Tabuk to Manila, and by a 1 hour plane (flying only MWF) and 2 hour bus ride from Manila to Tabuk, Kalinga by way of Tuguegarao, Cagayan province.
There were 18 Lions actively participating, and the rest of the 30 out of town participants were volunteers and friends from the USA, Philippine College of Surgeons (Manila) and from the Candon City area.
The main host was the Kalinga Provincial Hospital with volunteers from the Kalinga Medical Society. Laparoscopic surgeries were done at the Almora Clinic.

The total value of professional services per Philippines costs amount to $190,000.00. We donated supplies, medicines and minor equipment to the Hospital.
